Coolermaster Susurro CPU cooler
Coolermaster has had a few hits like the Aero cooler and also their Hyper series on the cpu cooler market. However, the biggest problem with them has been that they have been quite loud and that's what has held the ratings down. Susurro is the name of their latest creation and with a simple installation and a quiet cpu cooler they are hoping to take over a bit more on the market. We will look into this Susurro today and see if it really is quiet and how well it actually does perform.

Sizewise this cpu cooler is pretty standard. For example Zalmans and even Swiftechs coolers are a bit bigger so you won't have any trouble mounting this one but I guess you figured that our when you saw the box already. On the box you have a picture of the cooler and also some information for you to read. Inside you find the unit, a tube with thermal paste, and a small manual with mounting instructions.

The heatsink is equipped with a nice 92 mm fan that is covered in a metal fan grill to prevent damage to the fan or to your fingers.
Mounting this product is very easy, you have a old fashin clip system so you don't even have to remove the motherboard from the case which is a real plus factor.

The heatsink weighs 685 grams which is quite a bit, but I feel that it is not a problem even if you move the computer around to Lan parties etc.
Heatsinks these days have a copper core or are fully copper, which this is also. Also, the bottom of the heatsink is dent and scratch free.
We can also see that in the middle of the heatsink there are several thin fins that help cool it off.
