Coolermaster Hyper6+ cpu cooler

We will look at a really big heatsink today, we got a nice sample from Coolermaster on their latests Hyper6+ cpu heatsink that works on pretty much all sockets. My first thought on this was that it's big and after opening the package I saw the "monster". You have a universal mounting system as they call it and it fits on several p4 and amd sockets. We will compare it to some other coolers that have performed well in earlier testing and also check out some overclocking results.

Extremely well packed product with a nice box which one the front shows the cpu cooler behind thick plastic so you can get a close look. On the back and on the sides you find features and specifications on this cpu cooler, it's the same specifications and features listed above the pictures here.

So what is included in this box? Well for starters we have the big! heatsink that really seems to be a very high quality when you take a quick look. You also have a very nice blue led fan which is 100 mm big so it does without any problems remove the hot air from this heatseink. You also get a standard fan grill to prevent you from hurting yourself by getting caught in the fan. The manual explains things very well even though it's a bit hard to mount this thing on the motherboard. As you see on the specifications you can mount this cooler on Socket A/370/462/478/754/939/940/LGA 775 which brackets and mounting parts are included for.
