Testing was done with the following software. Sisoft Sandra XI, Pcmark2005, SuperPi, and HDspeed and we compared this setup vs the Asus P5K3 Deluxe motherboard with a Intel QX6700 and a Corsair Dominator memory kit to give you an idea on how well this perform.
Sisoft Sandra XI, Cpu multimedia benchmark:
In the multimedia benchmark it shows how the processor handles the multi-media instructions and data. We can see here that the float has the same results while the integer is a bit faster in the p5k64ws board.
Pcmark Vantage:
Now since ran our tests in Vista this time we used Pcmark Vantage as the older versions won't work in Vista. We can see here that we have some mixed scores though asthe WS board is faster in both HDD and total score while the Deluxe board is faster operating the memory.
HDtach:
Since we still run a older IDE drive in our tests the results will probably be better for you than what we got. The ide drive is a bit limited compared to SATA but the results are very similar in this test also as IDE has not evolved lately :)
