Especially when it comes to cables you get more than enough with the card, you get two SATA power adapters and two SATA cables. If you need more USB ports or a gamerport you also have the choice to install them on the board. As I said earlier this far we got everything needed accessory wise.

The board is not very colorful, instead Asus has decided to aim for a nice color scheme which this time is copper, black, and blue. Personally I like this color setup and they are still able to show what is plugged into which socket.

Around the cpu socket itself you see heatsinks which are connected with heatpipes so they can transfer the heat of the chips. There's plenty of space around the socket and you won't have any major problems installing even bigger cpu coolers on this board.
The ram sockets are colored so you know how to connect to run your ram as dual channel, on this board you can plug in up to 8GB of ram which should cover your needs even when working with heavy graphics.

This board supports six SATA ports and one IDE port. The ports are bent 90 degrees so you can hide your cables easier as the SATA cables tend to be quite stiff and not bendable.
The heatsinks in these boards are well made with a perfect space between the fins and a copper heatpipe that transfers the heat between them.

On the side you got all the plugins for HDD led, Power, Reset, etc... along with the often needed USB connectors for some extra USB ports.
Now in the back there's more than enough plugins, we see a total of 6 USB, Ps2, 2 LAN, 2 HDMI, surround sound, SPDIF, and firewire.
So far everything looks quite decent, but now it is time to take a look at some testing results and overclocking results to see if this board really can perform so it suits both the overclocker and normal consumer.
Testing:
Asus P5K3 Deluxe
Intel QX6700
Corsair Pc3-12800 DDR3
Asus 8600GTS
Zalman 500W PSU
Maxtor 80GB IDE HDD

Testing was done with the following software. Sisoft Sandra XI, Pcmark2005, SuperPi, and HDspeed and we compared this setup vs the Asus P5K3 Deluxe motherboard with a Intel QX6700 and a Corsair Dominator memory kit to give you an idea on how well this perform.
Sisoft Sandra XI, Cpu arithmetic benchmark:

In the cpu arithmetic benchmark we got some pretty similar results both in Dhrystone and Whetstone.
