Asus P5K64 WS motherboard review

Today we take a look at a fully loaded workstation card from Asus. We recieved a sample of their P5K64WS that has HDMI, DDR3, etc etc features that we are going to take a closer look at. We decided to run some tests vs the P5K3 Deluxe motherboard that we reviewed in the past, we had some great luck with performance and overclocking when it came to that board and we don't expect anything less from this board.

Now the front of the box doesn't reveal to much. You see the name of the board along with the Asus logo on the top, on the back though you can read about its features and specifications and also look at a picture of how the board is designed.

When it comes to accessories you get quite a bit to consider with this card. Since it is a workstation card a tad more cables are included, you get for example; a manaul, I/O backplate, cd with drivers, and software. You also get two IDE cables, seriell port, and an optional firewire port that you can connect if needed. This far it is looking quite good, I just miss the rounded IDE cables which most manufacturers seem to have gotten rid of for some reason.
