Testing will today be done with the following games and software; Crysis, Call of Duty 4, 3dmark2006 and 3dmark Vantage. Temperatures are taking while idling in windows and full temperatures are taken after looping 3dmark2006. Ambient temperature was 21 celsius at the time of testing. As operating system we used Windows Vista with the latest updates.
Our comparison cards today are a Visiontek 4850 stock speed and a Asus 9800GX2 TOP.
3dmark2006:
We can see that the Asus card performs a few points better than the Visiontek card as expected.
3dmark2006 4X Anti Aliasing:
Turning Anit Aliasing on we should see a drop in points. All cards dropped a bit in points even though the Asus 4850 dropped the least.
3dmark Vantage:
If we look at the results from the high demanding 3dmark Vantage we can see that the 4850 TOP actually beats all the cards in this test.
