Asus 3850 TOP Videocard Review

If you want to run dual DVI monitors this is a good choice since the card is equipped with two DVI connectors and a S-video connector to hook up the card to a TV. The cooler is very well mounted on the back of the card with four screws, this makes it easy for you to change the cooler though just make sure that your new GPU cooler will fit on this card. So far the card has looked half decent, the only flaw I have found is the very loud fan.
Testing will today be done with the following games and software; Crysis, Call of Duty 4, 3dmark2006, and X3 Reunion. Temperatures are taking while idling in windows and full temperatures are taken after looping 3dmark2006. Ambient temperature was 21 celsius at the time of testing. As operating system we used Windows Vista with the latest updates.
3dmark2006:
This card performs quite well in 3dmark2006, we can see that is does not keep up with the fast 8800 card but it still performs well.
3dmark2006 4x AA:
We decided to run another loop with 4x antialiasing activated and as we can see the card drops a bit in performance since this is a middle range card.
