A-data Ddr2 667 Vitesta

We met up with A-data at Cebit and got a cooperation started, and here is our first review of one of their products. They sent us a kit of their new DDR2 ram, with the DDR2 market growing fast and replacing the DDR memory this is a great product to review right now. We will compare this to our previous DDR2 memory kits we have reviewed in the past and we will also share stability and overclocking results with you.

About A-data:

Founded in May, 2001 by Chairman and CEO Mr. Simon Chen, A-DATA Technology Co., Ltd. has quickly risen to become one of the world’s largest memory product providers.

At the beginning, with DRAM modules as the major product line, A-DATA Technology’s mission was to become “The Global Leading Brand of Memory Products.” Later on, recognizing the market’s trend, A-DATA Technology diversified its product portfolio to include Flash peripherals and to capitalize on the strong growth of the Flash-based product market. With the ability to quickly develop high-quality DRAM memory and Flash memory products that meet market demand, A-DATA Technology has experienced outstanding growth. Based on an April, 2005 iSuppli report, A-DATA ranks third in the world for DRAM Module and fifth for Flash Disk respectively.

Since A-data started their business I have been curious about their ram and today I have the chance to try a kit out. The package is similar to OCZ ram with a plastic cover that still shows the ram sticks and on the back they display awards they have won in the past for their products.

The heatsinks have a nice red color and are held on the memory by two clips. On them there is some print that explains what ram this is. There is also a sticker on each memory stick that gives the exact information about them.
